Kansas Midwives

Congratulations on your upcoming birth! I am a midwife in Pueblo, Colorado, serving clients throughout Southern Colorado. I offer a variety of birth and breastfeeding services including: homebirth midwifery, doula care (in the home or hospital), lactation consultation, a full array of classes, and a burgeoning birth community. I am a Certified Professional Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I am registered as a direct-entry midwife with the state of Colorado.

As your midwife, I provide complete and comprehensive prenatal care, continuous hands-on support during your labor and birth, and extensive postpartum care and breastfeeding assistance. Your hour-long prenatals give you plenty of time to ask all the questions you naturally have. 

Most women are good candidates for homebirth, and I can still offer doula services to those few who are not. Waterbirth is an option for you at home, and I carry waterproof equipment to monitor you and the baby while you use this fabulous labor tool. 

I can bill most major insurance plans, and provide flexible payment options as well.

During a time when cesarean deliveries are at an all-time high, a plethora of birth interventions are used without question, and women feel disconnected from the birth experience, the Midwives Model of Care and homebirth offer a different option. It is a safe, evidence-based practice, and one that is much more common in Europe and other places.

Homebirth is an empowering, peaceful, beautiful experience. I would love to walk this journey with you.
