I'm happy that you're helping Illinois women. The legal system here is rather messed up when it comes to a perfectly natural process that women have been doing for thousands of years without hospitals and doctors. I found this site in my search for midwives. I am interested in becoming a midwife for homebirths, or at least following a midwife to learn more about it. I have a 1 1/2 year old daughter who was delivered in a hospital by a CNM.
